In-Person Services

The Short Stay Crisis Support Program offers voluntary support services to people (16+ in the Peel region) with serious mental illness, who are experiencing a crisis, and have come into conflict with the criminal justice system.
The program has two locations, (South Mississauga, 905-279-9294, and South Brampton, 905-460-0107) and 8 beds at each location. 1 bed at each location is available for individuals who meet the program criteria but who are not involved with the criminal justice system.
Clients are provided with lodging and support for up to 14 days, including a short term care plan and links to other services, risk assessment, and clinical interventions.
