Huronia Transition Homes operates four primary programs including: La Maison Rosewood Shelter, Athena’s Sexual Assault Counselling & Advocacy Centre, Choices for Children and Operation Grow.

Athena's Sexual Assault Counselling & Advocacy Centre provides legal support at 705-526-3221 extension 3229, human trafficking support at 705-526-3221 or 1-800-461-1750, and counselling services by calling their office 705-737-2884

La Maison Rosewood Shelter offers
Emergency accommodation for women experiencing abuse and/or homelessness
Advocacy, Information and referrals
Individual counselling
Support groups for women and their children
Legal support
Outreach services
Speaking engagements and workshops
Shelter support and counselling to all francophone women staying in any shelter in Simcoe County

Choices for Children is a psychoeducational group program for children aged 5-15 in Simcoe Count who have been exposed to abuse against their mothers. All participation is self-referred, confidential, free of charge, and all necessary materials are supplied. Services may be available virtually and/or in-person. Contact group facilitators at 705-526-3221 EXT. 3241.

Operation Grow is an initiative to support food security, social connection, and combat poverty for women in the community who have experience violence.

Advocacy & Rights-Based Services (E.g. legal aid; tenancy; equity), Direct Support Services (Health care; legal aid etc.), Financial & Practical Assistance (Subsidies; Food; Housing)
