In-Person Services, Phone/Chat/Text Hotline, Community-Based Programs

We provide 24-hour crisis intervention, counselling, advocacy, support and residential services to assist women aged 16 and older, with or without children, who need a place of safety from abuse.

Sexual Assault Supports include their crisis line, accompaniment and court support, priority counselling (e.g., urgent care counselling - 6 short term sessions for immediate response). Urgent counselling may be extended to short-term. They also offer transitional housing and planning supports.

Shelter Program - For women and their children who are currently in abusive relationships (physically, emotionally, verbally or sexually abusive). The shelter is a safe, supportive residence for women who are 16 years of age or older, with or without children. The services of the shelter are available 24 hours a day. Women do not need to reside at the shelter to access services. All services are available to women and their children free of charge.

Child & Youth Counselling Program - Haldimand & Norfolk Women’s Services include short-term children and youth counselling, elementary school based counselling, advocacy and referral services.
