Specialized sexual assault teams can provide emotional support and education about options for care and reporting for people who have been sexually assaulted. Generally accessed through a health care provider. The teams operate out of Edmonton (11 locations), Red Deer, Calgary (Children's Hospital and Sheldon Chumir Health Centre), and Southern Alberta (Chinook and Medicine Hat Hospitals)
